The Interview:

Jimmy Carter is the 39th President of the United States and the Founder of The Carter Center, which “seeks to prevent and resolve conflicts, enhance freedom and democracy, and improve health” around the world. President Carter has also been involved with Habitat for Humanity since 1984, when he led an effort to renovate a New York City building and provide 19 families with shelter. His newest book is A Call to Action: Women, Religion, Violence and Power.

The Panel:

Neera Tanden is the president of the Center for American Progress and counselor to the Center for American Progress Action Fund. Formerly the Senior Advisor for Health Reform at the Department of Health and Human Services, Tanden writes a regular online column for The New Republic.

W. Kamau Bell is a comedian whose national standup tour “Oh, Everything! will stop in South Carolina, North Carolina, Miami, FL, Cambridge, MA, and Brooklyn, NY in April. Bell also co-hosts the The Field Negro Guide to Arts & Culture podcast and is a board member of Race Forward and Hollaback.

Josh Gad joins the panel mid-show. He is an actor, writer and producer who appeared in theAcademy Award-winning film Frozen. Gad received a Tony nomination and won a Grammy for his performance in the musical TheBook of Mormon and will co-star with Billy Crystal in the upcoming FX series The Comedians.
