A wife in Saudi Arabia got tired of her horn-dog husband flirting with and groping the help so she took out her phone and recorded him forcing himself on a maid as the maid whimpers in protest. The wife then posted the video of the assault online. Here’s the video, which, at first glance, looks like a lady being attacked by a pile of laundry.
Justice for wrongdoers is swift in Saudi Arabia and the wife who did the recording will now likely face charges for “defaming her husband” and could serve one year in prison and a fine of $134,000.
Will feminist liberals join me in condemning a culture that prosecutes the female whistleblower who records and reveals evidence of sexual assault, rather than the sexual assaulter? Or am I being an Islamophobe again?
